Os icónicos Meshuggah anunciam que começarão a preparar o processo de composição de um novo álbum em inícios de 2014. A notícia foi dada pelo guitarrista da banda, Mårten Hagström, numa entrevista recente à webzine australiana Loud Online em que falou de vários temas como a detenção de Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God), a direcção musical da banda em cada álbum e sobre o sucessor de "Koloss" lançado em 2012.
Loud: "Durante quanto tempo esperam continuar a tour em apoio ao vosso último álbum antes que iniciem a escrever o novo álbum?"
Mårten Hagström: "Até ao final do ano. Eu penso que o último dia de Novembro é o nosso último concerto para esta tour. E portanto esperamos ter algum tempo livre em Dezembro, já que temos estado em tour para Koloss há cerca de dois anos, com períodos de paragem. Portanto penso que após este período deveremos começar a escrever o novo álbum."
